Content Description

This product specification is intended to apply to Variable Frequency Drives and Drive Systems. Such products are generally considered a “Manufactured Product” by the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) regulations (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 2, Part 184). The specification is intended to identify the elements of a successful process to assess and apply the Buy America Preference requirements imposed on a company’s low voltage power distribution equipment products under the BABA Act. This specification facilitates the evaluation and application of a successful Supply Chain Evaluation and Assurance Program for supply chain evaluation and verification specific to Variable Frequency Drives and Drive Systems.
